Bonjour!  My name is Heather and I am addicted to “mommy porn”…  Seriously, I LOVE to read!  My favorite genres are NA, YA, and contemporary romance.  I also read some paranormal, erotica, and historical romances as well!  I am 30 years young and about halfway through my English degree!  I hope to become a book editor and if that doesn’t pan out, I can always teach right?  

In the meantime I am a stay at home mom to my five(yes FIVE) beautiful but crazy children.  My boys are 10, 9 year old twins, and 8; and Bossyrella is 2.  I love them with all of my heart but they tend to drive me bat-shit crayzay.  I try not to take life too seriously and joke a lot.  So, if I threaten to give my children away, rest assured I am just joking.  ;)  

I have been with my husband, Adam since I was 16 years old!  He is the love of my life and very accepting of all of my book boyfriends, so I will keep him!  Let’s face it ladies, our men totally benefit from our obsessive reading!  We are originally from Cajun country but live in Houston, TX!

I am really excited to get to know you all through our Facebook and Twitter pages, help promote some great authors, and share my book reviews with my fellow readers!

Hey!  I met my wonderful husband on a blind date nine years ago and we just celebrated our eighth anniversary.  We have two amazing little boys (7 and 8) who are only eleven months apart (and I’m rounding up!) so life is crazy … although it was A LOT crazier when they were itty bitties!

My hubby’s passion for sports rivals my passion for reading so you can imagine my, ahem, dismay when my constant reading is a problem yet his constant sports watching is not.  

** sigh **   

He keeps my wine supply plentiful so I guess he’s not all bad!

I’m a full-time mommy, wife, maid, chauffeur, tutor, chef and anything else my family needs me to do and I absolutely love it!  It’s the hardest thing I’ve ever done but I wouldn’t trade this time for anything.  Reading keeps me sane … I love the temporary escape that comes with a good book.  I find myself reading more and more from all the indie authors out there … I’m super excited to continue exploring that niche and sharing my thoughts on their work.

While I am an obsessive, avid reader, I am not a writer.  I'm a math and science girl and I'm pretty sure my writing leaves no doubt of that!  Please keep that in mind as you read my reviews.

Heather and I spend a lot of time burning up Facebook Messenger chatting about what we’re reading.  She’s the best Book Bestie a girl could have!  This blog is an extension of our friendship and our love of reading and we can’t wait to share it all with you!
