And I loved it!
This book is short and HOT and centers around three key players ... Catarina, Clark, and Marco ... all co-workers at Mirage.
Catarina -
My logic on this is simple. After tonight, after what I did, I don't feel as if I have a right to remain pure. I want to be tainted, to be as imperfet as my job. I need to be dirtied ...
Clark -
"You were my guy, but you didn't even know it." - Catarina
Marco -
"Please, Cat. Say no." Leaning his forehead on mine, he mutters, "don't make me be that guy. I don't want to hurt you, but I will."
We don't know much about Marco ... he's new at Mirage and works on the same team as Cat. What we do know though .... I definitely like!
"Don't you f#cking dare. Open your eyes, baby. Look at me."
Chest heaving, I open my eyes and they meet his. He smirks and continues his controlled, deep thrusts.
"That's it. See me." - Marco
Ummmm, Marco can hurt me all he wants!
Since this is a three part mini-series, this book does end with a cliffhanger. If cliffies don't bug you, I recommend reading this one now. It's definitely different, Marco is super yum, and Catarina ... well, it's too soon to tell with that girl. I think she might be shocking us all in the coming books ...
