The first thing I must address when reviewing Fraternizing is this HOT AS EFFING HELL cover!!!! I am a self-professed cover
whore and Fraternizing is one of my FAVES! I am so tired of seeing the same models on everyone's covers. It drives me
buh-fucking-nanas when the people on the cover of a book do not match the descriptions of the characters in the story. Cindy hit this freaking
cover. This IS Alex and Cassie. Throw in dog tags and even his freaking tattoo and this is how you put a face on your
work. If you are going to spend the time writing a book, please, please, please put some decent effort into your cover!
Cassie meets Alex at a bar, and they really hit it off. They are both shocked as shit when Cassie walks in to her training class days later and he is the
instructor. They both know that fraternizing is against the law and do a really poor job of trying to avoid one another. The sexual tension is palpable
and it doesn't take long before rules are being bent and broken.
Alex is the ideal marine. He has never questioned the rules or considered breaking them until Pfc. Cassie Bennett.
Normally, pussy was pussy. It was nothing to get excited about, lose my head about, or possibly destroy my career over. But something here was different. Something here was worth all of the turmoil and so much more.
Alex is effing HAWT! He is a total alpha-male. He is extremely crass and politically
incorrect but somehow makes being an asshole sexy in the extreme! After a piss poor job of avoiding Cassie, Alex goes all in.
He is determined to have Cassie Bennett.

*swoon* Alex is OMG *fans self* He is just delicious. He's always looking out for his
woman, both in the bedroom and out. He can be a bit territorial and a lot over the top but all of his faults somehow add to his appeal.
…I wanted to look past Alex's stupidity and love all over him. Because when he wanted to be, he could be very protective and endearing-two things I didn't have much of in my life.
Fraternizing is filled with angst and smokin' hot SEX! There is always that anticipation of being caught that adds a naughty element
and gets your blood pumping even more.
Alex and Cassie are marines, breaking the law. People find out. Things get crazy and
then they get crazier. There is constantly a need for damage control. When it REALLY goes down in at the end, I was in tears!
She was my lifeline--the air to my fucking lungs, the blood to my fucking heart. I knew that there was nothing else in the world more important than her.
My gripe...
The insta-love was a little bit too insta for me. Sometimes it works… most of the time I don't really feel it. In this case I would have lengthened the amount of time they knew each other before realizing that he was her teacher and deciding that the hot piece of ass, from
one night of dancing in the bar, was worth sabotaging a career over.
That being said, try to look past it and enjoy this great book. The storyline is unique. It is captivating. The characters are so endearing. The angst and
sexual tension are off the charts!

Sergeant Alejandro Cruz (Alex) is a successful Marine communications instructor with a bright future. He is a dedicated and devoted Marine … living by the rules
and code of conduct established by the Corp.
He is out with his buddies one night celebrating an upcoming promotion when he meets …. well they don't really meet, they just dance …. well, they don't really
dance, just bump and grind … okay I'll go with that! Alex bumps and grinds with a gorgeous blonde stranger. He is instantly taken with her and when a fight breaks out, he is pulled away
left wondering who this beautiful woman is. He finds out on Monday morning when he shows up to teach a new class of Marines. Surprise, surprise, Cassie
(the mystery blonde) is one of his students. And wouldn't you know it, the Corp has a zero tolerance no fraternizing
policy.
While Alex and Cassie try to deny the attraction between them, she's evidently worked some voodoo magic via dirty dancing on Alex because he is a goner …. hook,
line, and sinker.
This was a dire straits game of tug-o-war, a self-depraving inner struggle, a test of wills. On the outside, I was winning, but deep inside…deep inside I knew I
was losing badly. - Alex
He falls head over heels in love and is willing to risk his career to be with her. Cassie feels the same and they embark on a clandestine
affair.
Despite all the reasons to not like Alex (and there are many) I totally love him, LOL! Everything about him is just so …. primal. And he's all about pleasing
his woman, LOL! He is HAWT!!! And together with Cassie … they are smokin' HAWT!
They are actually pretty sweet too.

The books ends with a cliffie so if you are not a fan you probably want to wait until the second book comes out before reading this one. And just like Alex, this
book is a little rough around the edges but I truly believe it just adds to its charm! <3!

I love to write, even if it isn't what is conventional and makes everyone feel giddy inside. I usually pull from dreams, or ideas
that just thrust themselves into my head. I have what some would describe as a dry sense of humor, and I think its conveyed in my writing. I like to think I am a kick ass chick, but I can also
be sensitive. I'm learning to grow thick skin, and in this field, it is definitely needed!
