I couldn’t pretend that my life hadn’t changed.  But I also couldn’t bring myself to regret the irrevocable consequences that forever changed me.  I learned the true meaning of selflessness and what it meant to love someone so much you’d give up everything for them.  I finally understood what it meant to sacrifice your own heart, just to allow another to beat.

Sometimes our actions, however wrong they may be, can have the most precious of consequences.  Hailey has been living with the consequences of the actions of her teenaged self for the last few years.  One night… one party… one mistake has forced her to grow up and be an adult well before her time.  But, Hailey isn’t bitter about it.  Hailey, with the help of her amazing grandmother, has been a wonderful mother to her sweet baby girl, Ari.

Hailey has put her own life on hold.  She doesn’t go out or date.  She works, takes care of her baby, and now is finally going to start college.

This is what being a mother is all about, putting your baby’s needs before your own.  Even when it hurts.

I LOVED Precious Consequences.  It is a story about love and loss, about finding the beauty in your mistakes and embracing it.  It is a story about second chances and amazing friendships.
