Every Second With You picks up right where The Thrill Of It ended. The big bomb at the end of TTOI is dropped and it doesn't go over very well. For anyone. There are so many emotions involved for Trey and Harley... for their parents. It is not the best time to rock an already shakey ship, but reality has a way of slapping you in the face when you least expect it."This isn't what I would have chosen for us. Not now at least. But it's our reality, and we have to deal with it."
Trey and Harley are addicts and always vulnerable to falling off the wagon. They have to learn to trust each other and to trust themselves. They grow so much in Every Second With You. I feel such pride in both of these characters. They learn what and who truly matter in their lives and more importantly how to let go of the things and people that they cannot control.
Oh Trey! Could he be any more perfect? There is just something about that boy... and just when I thought I couldn't love him more... life deals them another HUGE blow.
